Responds to Food Bank’s Needs

The Rotary Club of Sun City West invited Jesse Ramirez, President and Founder of Valley View Community Food Bank, to its meeting on Friday, September 16th to demonstrate its support for the El Mirage facility.
 
Aware of the Food Bank’s recent difficulties in furnishing food for local people in need, the Club presented a check for $2,000 from its Endowment Fund, and a check in the amount of $1,006 from member donations.  
 
The Endowment grant had been approved for distribution in November, but was expedited because of the Food Bank’s critical need for assistance.
