I would like to take this time just say Happy Holidays to you and your families!
I believe that the “Spirit of the Holiday Season” is that we are reminded of the different events that we have gone through during this time of year. Rather they are happy memories or even some sadder memories but none the less they are there.
It’s those memories that make us who we are.
I think that is one of the powerful influences that Rotary has is the fact that through Rotary we have the ability to reach out and touch people’s lives and help create a better future for some of these people.
As we spend time with our relatives, our friends, and even fellow Rotarians this holiday season let’s just take a moment to Thank the people around us that support us to allow us to do what we do through Rotary.
As you know Rotary provides us with the avenues we need to help make lives better throughout our communities and the world.
Let’s not be bashful of the accomplishments that you achieved through Rotary this year. Rather it was through your Club, or your own giving to the Foundation, or whatever you personally you did through Rotary to make a difference.
Who knows your enthusiasm just might rub off on to somebody and they may what to know more about how they help make a difference!
