On Saturday, January 13, Chandler Rotary Club dedicated a Peace Pole at Chandler Downtown Library.

 

As we reported previously, a Peace Pole is a hand-crafted monument that displays the message and prayer “May Peace Prevail on Earth” on each side, usually in different languages. On this particular Peace Pole, it is in Mandarin, Hindi, Spanish and English.

Peace Poles have been placed in 180 countries, on every continent, thousands of them, all over the World, dedicated as monuments to peace.
