"The world’s progress in fighting polio might be one of the best-kept secrets in global health."  - Bill Gates

The partnership (Rotary, WHO, UNICEF, the CDCP, and The Gates Foundation) is incredibly close to eradicating Polio, which would be just the second disease to stay permanently in the history books.
Fundraising is underway.

Toward that end, District 5495 Rotarians Charlie Tegarden, Amanda Sanchez, and Rebecca Wilks will bicycle in the event on November 18, part of the Tour De Tucson.

Please consider contributing to Polio eradication on Charlie,  Amanda, or Rebecca’s Personal Fundraising page.  Brenda Cressey, Rotary Foundation Trustee, tells us that through the magic of matching (The Rotary Foundation and The Gates Foundation), your $100 donation becomes $450 toward wiping out this crippling disease forever.
