1999-2000 District 5510 Governor Joe Goldblatt     Joe is a long time member of Tempe South. He initially joined Rotary in Lawrence, Kansas. He served Tempe South as President in 1992-93 and became District Governor of District 5510 in 1999-2000.
 
Joe and his wife Helen opened their small business, The Bone Appetit Bakery in Phoenix, a gourmet treat shop for dogs and cats with a line of boutique items for pets and their owners in 1999.
 
He served our country as a member of the United States Air Force for almost 27 years as both an enlisted man and as an officer, retiring as a Major. His career took him through four career paths including an electronics technician, a missile launch officer, a procurement officer and a college professor.
 
Joe and Helen have two children, Barry and Jeri, and three grandsons.
