RYE 5490 Outbound Chair
In our recent online meeting for the merged District 5495 RYE program which took place Thursday evening we had some very lively discussions. One of the discussions surrounded a cut-off date for applications. While District 5510 has always had a cut-off date for applications, District 5490 has never had cut-off date. So this is a new policy they have just instituted for the merged district, -- expected to be backed up to October 15th for next year.
There are still a list of aspects they are still trying to work out, so they can accurately inform applicants and their families of what they are expected to pay and to do; since the two RYE programs have operated quite differently.
All applications are being done online via D5490's Rotary Youth Exchange website.
