Rotary - Global Grant Partnership Opportunity for your District & Clubs

The purpose of this global grant is to greatly expand a proven program of giving cell phones and training to community health workers in Kenya to improve health and provide medical assistance to thousands.  
 
I am asking for District 5490’s participation in this proven and successful program to use cell phone technology to improve the health of mothers and children in Kenya. 
 
Benefits for your district and clubs in your district in joining this grant are:
  • You will be making a real and positive difference in the world by helping Kenyan children who die of treatable diseases and pregnant mothers in Kenya who die of preventable complications of giving birth.
  • Joining this global grant is extremely easy and straightforward as detailed budgets are complete and operating agreements with the government are done.
  • By partnering in the global grant, your clubs can achieve one of their goals towards their humanitarian service requirement needed to qualify for the prestigious Presidential Citation for 2016-17.
