As the holidays approach many people have “gifts” on their minds.

We may be thinking about special gifts for our loved ones.  We may be deluged with requests for end-of-year donations.  When I think about Rotary and the Rotarians I have the privilege to know, the title words of a classic textbook about personalities  comes to mind--“Gifts Differing”.   We Rotarians certainly bring a huge range of differing personalities and personal values to our clubs, our communities, our district, and beyond.

One of the beauties of Rotary is that it gives us the opportunity to merge our diverse strengths and interests with one common valued goal in mind:  doing good in the world.  There are so many ways each of us can step up and share our strengths and abilities!

What is a good fit for your skills and interests and values?  Which of your ‘gifts’ might you focus on sharing more actively with your club and our district during the coming year?  Talk to your Club President, President-Elect or your AG about where your talents may be needed!
