Chandler Business Alliance Supports Sun Lakes Rotary Foundation 2000
Submitted by Dr. Honora Norton, Rotary Club of Sun Lakes Public Image Chair
The Rotary Club of Sun Lakes (RCSL) thanks the Chandler Business Alliance for raising $1,400 in support of the Sun Lakes Rotary Foundation 2000, the club's 501(c)(3) charitable foundation.
The Chandler Business Alliance invited the club to share its story of community service during its October 14 Lunch Bunch gathering, where Dr. Elaine Ralls, Foundation 2000 President, spoke about the foundation's work.
Foundation 2000 supports a variety of Rotary Club of Sun Lakes programs, including education initiatives such as dictionary distributions, Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, teacher awards, and AWIM/STEM mentoring. The foundation also supports veteran services and other community service projects.
The Chandler Business Alliance is a networking organization that helps connect local businesses with nonprofit organizations in Chandler and surrounding communities.
Rotary Club of Sun Lakes members Jon Lyons, Dr. Elaine Ralls, Val Crump, Neil Cutler, and Dr. Honora Norton were present to accept the contribution.
The Sun Lakes Rotary Foundation 2000 will direct the funds toward community service projects.
