Save The Date!!!
CLA: Part 2 - Building a Vibrant Club is scheduled for Saturday, September 19, 2020.

We are thrilled to be having Rotary Foundation Trustee (2017-2021), Brenda Cressey as our keynote speaker.  Brenda was honored to serve as the first female Vice Chair and later Chair of the Rotary Foundation.  She will continue her term as Trustee through 2021.  Brenda will update us on our Polio eradication efforts and all things Rotary Foundation!

This will be a wonderful opportunity for club members for all over the state to come together.  We will learn about and celebrate Rotary! CLA is designed to inspire and help your entire club leadership team to “raise the bar” and take your club to the next level in the coming year.  Save the Date!
Rather than trying to sort out and deal with too much information coming at them all at once, sometimes characterized as “attempting to drink from a fire hose,” the morphing of this year’s CLA will enable our incoming leaders to spread out their training for their positions.  They will be able to enroll in one or more of the recommended online courses, and complete those courses at their convenience.  In addition, they can obtain answers to remaining questions they may have when they participate in the teleconferences in May.  In those sessions they will be able to confer with Rotarians preparing to serve in the same positions in other clubs, as well as to pick up tips from some of our veteran club leaders.

All in all, we believe that, by squeezing the lemons we have been handed by the Coronovirus containment provisions, we have managed to come up with some pretty tasty lemonade that has the potential to benefit and strengthen all of our Rotary clubs!
