What if every Rotary club in District 5495 collected just a little food for families in need?
Together, we could collect a TON of food for our communities.
As part of the America 250 Arizona celebration, Rotary District 5495 is inviting every club to participate in the Collect a TON of Food Challenge during the week of July 13–17, 2026. Here's how it works:
Collect Food
Gather canned goods and other non-perishable food items through your club, members, family, friends, or workplace.
Donate Locally
Deliver your donation to a food bank, food pantry, or community organization serving those in need in your area.
Weigh Your Donation
Determine the total weight of the food donated by your club.
Take a Photo
Snap a picture of your members with the donation or a photo showing the food being delivered.
Share Your Results
Send your photo(s) and the total weight donated to District 5495 so we can celebrate the collective impact of Rotary across our communities.
Every can counts. Every pound matters. Every club can make a difference.
As we commemorate America's 250th anniversary, let's demonstrate Rotary's commitment to Service Above Self by helping stock food shelves throughout District 5495. Whether your club contributes 50 pounds or 500 pounds, your efforts will help families facing food insecurity and strengthen the communities we serve.
Let's see what Rotary can accomplish when we work together. Together, we can collect a TON of food!
