The USA/Mexican Conference and Grants Fair is rapidly approaching and you and your club have some options for participating.

The best option is to send one of your club members who has never before attended an International Rotary event.  The registration fee is only $175, which includes all in-country expenses and home hosting. Consider subsidizing your member’s airfare.

Pledge support for a Global Grant that will address a project of interest to your club members.  Decide how much your club can afford to give toward a worthwhile endeavor; then ask one of the Rotarians (or Global Grants Chair Elizabeth Mahoney) who will be attending the grants fair to find a good project for you.  You can always instruct the Rotarian as to the type of project.  The typical pledge ranges from $150-$3,000. This way you can still be a part of a grant without being the primary sponsor

It is best to hurry if you are sending someone to Cuernavaca, as the seats of the preferred flights are down to a precious few.
