The Rotary Vocational Fund of Arizona received a donation of just over $4,700 this month from District 5495 as a result of the district's first-ever TRVFA fundraising dinner held during the district conference in May. District Governor Bret McKeand presented a check for $4,708.92 to TRVFA Committee Chair Jeanie Morgan and TRVFA Committee member Allan Cady during the Rotary Club of Mesa West installation dinner on June 23. The two are members of Mesa West. A TRVFA fundraiser was held during the district conference in Prescott on May 12. The proceeds from that event were donated to TRVFA. The check donation also included proceeds generated from a district get-together held at the Rotary International Convention in Houston earlier in June.
