and Glendale Ethics in Action Award winner for 2014, Natalie Stahl.

The 2014 Award winner Natalie Stahl was nominated by Ms. Jody Serey,  Mrs. Natalie Stahl of Virginia's House, a vintage wedding and events venue in historic Glendale, a setting for scores of weddings, countless celebrations, and many memorial services.  Jody is always impressed anew with Natalie's commitment to treating people with affection, dignity and compassion, and accommodation.  If a couple married at Virginia's House suffers the loss of one of the spouses Natalie provides the venue space and the service at no charge. Natalie's presence in old Glendale has helped stabilize the neighborhood and has given other merchants encouragement in area to eliminate neighborhood blight. Natalie is a member and the current facilitator of the Northwest Women's Network. She supports the Glendale Chamber of Commerce, Local First Arizona, Orchard Glen Weed & Seed (Chairperson), Glendale Planning & Zoning Commission (Chairperson), West Valley Wedding Association (co-founder), Arizona Law Enforcement Wives Network (co-founder), and the Glendale Police Spouse Support (Co-President).    She is on the crisis team for the families of officers who are wounded or killed on the job, and she responds to requests for help from all over. She donates many services,  when there is a wedding, funeral, or memorial service that "has to happen," even though there is no payment. Natalie's favorite expression at such times is, "It's just the right thing to do."  If it is, then Natalie springs into action. Congratulations Natalie Stahl for your ethical leadership in our community.
