Three ways to support our Rotary Foundation
Every November, we celebrate The Rotary Foundation. Your support and generous gifts to the Foundation make it possible for us to be people of action and engage in life-changing projects worldwide. Here are three ways you can help maximize the effectiveness of our year-end giving campaigns and increase the amount of good we can do:
1 Encourage your members to make a gift to the Foundation on Giving Tuesday, which is 1 December. Share our video message
2 Give the gift of Rotary this holiday season. Share our digital flyer with members and potential donors.
3 Learn more about our new peer-to-peer fundraising tool, Raise for Rotary, where you can create fundraising pages that are easy to share with family and friends through social media and email.
Supporting education during a pandemic and beyond
Rotary clubs and districts have been using Rotary Foundation global grants for years to work with our partners to expand access to learning, because we know education can be a pathway out of poverty. Many projects address the complex components that go into educating children. The COVID-19 pandemic — with school closures, loss of jobs, and physical distancing — has made it more difficult to achieve the United Nations goal of universal access to education for children. But there are steps you can take to make sure your grant project leads to sustainable outcomes and has the desired impact. Learn more
Leadership development available from Toastmasters
As part of our alliance with Toastmasters International, we’re offering a series of leadership and communication
courses to Rotary and Rotaract members. The first two courses, now available in multiple languages in the Learning Center, discuss fundamental leadership skills like motivation, integrity, and team inclusiveness. You’ll also discover how ethics, decision making, goal setting, and delegating help you develop the skills necessary to lead a team effectively. Stay current with Rotary-branded resources

d you know that you can find resources for your next online speech or training session in the Brand Center? Update your PowerPoint presentation using the latest templates for Rotary and Rotaract clubs. The templates include instructions that help you customize slides with your own text, charts, images, and club logos. You can also create virtual meeting backgrounds with your club logo or download other backgrounds that feature Rotary, Rotaract, End Polio Now, The Rotary Foundation, and the areas of focus. Sign in to My Rotary, navigate to the Brand Center, and choose Materials and then Club Resources.
