Lending a Hand at Landmark Elementary School

The students at Landmark Elementary School in Glendale will return to a fresh new look in their cafeteria when school resumes next week.  On a recent Saturday Glendale West Rotarians painted the huge cafeteria with help from two future Maryvale High School Interactors  and Youth Exchange student Chasel Yeh, who returned to Taiwan a few days later.   The painters even tackled the interior doors of the gymnasium while they were at it!  Glendale West adopted Landmark three years ago and members love the projects Principal Gina Schmitz identifies for them.  Principal Schmitz has promised a “campus beautification project” in a few months and you can bet the Glendale West Rotarians will be ready to jump in and help!
