The Rotary Club of London Bridge has announced that its current London Bridge Days Commemorative Coin will be the 50th -- and last coin -- to be released by the club.

The theme for this year's coin is "London Bridge Havasu & Rotary Coin 50 Years." The coin is available in four different configurations: standard coin, colorized coin, a one-ounce fine silver coin and a one-ounce fine silver coin with a 24-karat gold overlay.

Sales of the coins over the years have generated over $1.5 million to benefit local organizations, causes and nonprofits.

The front of the coin depicts fireworks and balloons celebrating the 50th anniversary, while the reverse of the coin features a photo of the London Bridge and Rotary logo.

Coins cost $10 for the standard coin, $20 for the colorized coin. The silver coins are available only in three-coin sets with the standard and colorized coins included. The fine silver coin set sells for $90, while the gold overlay coin set sells for $120.

The coins are available through Rotary members, at the visitors center under the London Bridge or by contacting Gary Hettick at ghettick@frontier.com.
