Quartzsite's Rotary Day

We are turning our Best of Show Car & Motorcycle Show and the Run / Walk into a gigantic Rotary Day.  This is an all-day event with lots to do: a run/walk, a best of show cars and motorcycles, food, beer garden, games for all ages, music, pie-bobbing, an old-fashioned day of fun for all. We will have a separate informational booth showing Rotary videos, posters and flyers showing all the good we do here in our local community and internationally. Our net proceeds from the walk/run and the car & motorcycle show will be split evenly between our local Food Bank and End Polio Now. We hope some of our other club members and townsfolk come and have some fun with us! 

 

The trophies are gorgeous for the Best of Show.  We have raffles (including a Sony HGTV, a tablet, jewelry, and more), a pie-bobbing contest for giggles, and games for all ages.  We are having early in the day a 5K serious walk / run, quickly following with the assisted-walkers, younguns on bikes/trikes and just a fun parade of crazily decorated entrants after that.  All day we are serving a chuck wagon lunch of either all-beef hotdogs with chips or juicy pulled pork sandwiches with chips and pickles.  Music with a DJ and a beer garden fills out the rest! 

Come and join us celebrate what we all do as Rotarians locally and internationally.  All net proceeds from the walk.run and car show will be split evenly between our Quartzsite Food Bank and "End Polio Now" .  Net proceeds from the rest will go into our General Fund to further help to service our local community and in all its needs and our community projects.  We will have a large informational booth showing our poster, our literature and videos from around Rotary and End Polio Now.
