Members of the Rotary Club of London Bridge in Lake Havasu City are working hard to make sure the holidays are a fun and festive time for families and children who might otherwise not have much to celebrate.
The club recently adopted 26 families in need and spent nearly $13,000 shopping for holiday gifts at the Walmart in Lake Havasu City. Members were each given at least one family to shop for and up to $200 to spend on each child.
In all, the club purchased gifts for 63 children! "Serve to Change Lives" is more than just a Rotary theme for the London Bridge Club -- their actions will definitely "change lives" this holiday season.
