West Coast Rotaract PETS

Dear District Governors:

 

I am asking you to help spread the word about the “Second Annual” Rotaract Event that is happening July 17-19, 2015 in San Jose at the Sheraton San Jose Hotel. This Event, the Rotaract President Elect Training Session (PETS), has been organized and executed by a multi-district team of talented Rotaractors.

 

Last year I attended and can tell each of you that it was a resounding success!  So this year they are excited to announce that Rotaract PETS will have three tracks from which to choose:  (1)  Governor Elect Training Session - GETS  (2)  Board Elect Training Session – BETS  (3)  President Elect Training Session – PETS.  Together these three Sessions will now be the Big West Rotaract Institute.

 

During this weekend-long training, Rotaract club presidents, Rotaract district leaders and Rotaract club officers will receive sessions covering advanced leadership, delegation, event planning, fundraising, risk management, conflict resolution, membership attraction, membership engagement (retention) and much more.

 

For too long has there been a void when it comes to providing leadership training to our Rotaract club leaders. I am thrilled to see what our next generation of Rotarians has been organizing.

 

Please tell everyone in your district about this Event, especially your Youth Service Chair (or New Generations Chair), District Rotaract Chair, Club Presidents, Presidents Elect and Rotaractors. It is important that we support these Rotaractors.
