What's the deal with Arizona's Rotary PETS?

Are you the President-Elect or President-Nominee of your Rotary Club? Or are you a new Rotarian?
 
As we are fast approaching the beginning of March you can bet your bottom dollar that all across the state of Arizona the Rotary Club Presidents-Elect and Presidents-Nominee are registering to attend PETS on March 5th, 6th and 7th! Are you one of these Rotarians? Are you registered?
 
PEs and PNs have two days Friday and Saturday of instruction tailored to their individual roles, plenary sessions with engaging keynote speakers, vendor displays with goods and ideas to take back to their clubs and time to mix and mingle with fellow club leaders from all over Arizona and beyond.  Changes for 2015 are radical and include the following:
  • Revamped individual tracks for PE and PN. You will not have material repeated – it’s new.
  • NEW! First time Rotary Leadership Institute class #1 -- this is targeted to any Rotarian who wants to be better informed and involved about our wonderful organization. One day Saturday 3/7/15 -- $80 includes training, materials, breakfast and lunch. Only 40 seats available.
  • NEW! Every club is asked to send one member on Friday 3/6/15 to join the discussion on Membership Focus. Rotary Public Image Coordinator Larry Sundram - $80 includes training, materials, breakfast and lunch.
  • No longer are Secretaries and Treasurers receiving training at PETS. Their instruction will be part of each district's District Training Assembly in April along with instructions for all other layers of club leaders
PETS is held at the Phoenix East/Mesa Hilton and it starts with a BANG! of four Electives that are open to ALL Rotarians.  They start Thursday 3/5/15 starting at 3 pm and repeating at 4:15 pm

Then on Friday 3/6 we begin the 2-day President Elect and the all-new President Nominee Training. All details, costs, times etc are found on the PETS website www.azrotarypets.org.  100% participation is expected by President Elects.
