Our second youth exchange event, the Sedona Camping Weekend, was a total success!

All 13 inbound exchange students and a handful of ROTEX stayed overnight Friday, Saturday and Sunday at Rotarians Jennette and David Bill's house in Sedona. Friday we spent the evening catching up on how everyone is doing so far in the school year. Students played card games, swam and had a ukulele session under the stars. On Saturday, students strapped up their hiking boots and hit Cathedral Rock. After freshening up from the hike, the Rotary Youth Exchange group went to Sedona Red Rock High School where we were all invited to help clean the bookstore storage room. After returning to Jennette's house, the students prepared for the Sedona RC’s potluck event.

Networking, laughing, playing games, and doing what youth exchange students do best, eat! On Sunday morning, the students coordinated and organized a carwash fundraiser to help support some of the optional trips scheduled for their exchange year. It was a very successful event.

The RYE team is incredibly thankful for the Rotarians/Clubs that helped coordinate and host us this weekend.

We are excited for our upcoming event at the Grand Canyon for our Christmas Party.
