2026 CLA, Club Leadership Academy

CLA is a one-day, interactive learning experience designed for current and future club leaders who want
practical tools to help their clubs thrive. Whether you’re new to leadership, a seasoned Rotarian, or new to Rotary, CLA provides practical tools, fresh ideas, and connections you can bring back to your club immediately.

Keynote Speaker: David Simmer  The Power of Purpose - Transforming Meaningful Service Into Sustainable Membership Growth

At our best, Rotary is not a meeting - it’s a mission. Power of Purpose is the idea that the strongest clubs aren’t the ones that work hardest to “recruit.” They’re the ones that work hardest to matter.

Grants Management Seminar: Required for clubs seeking to qualify for District Designated Funds (DDF). At least two members per club must attend each year to remain eligible.

Role-Specific Workshops: Club Secretaries and Club Treasurers—ideal for those serving now or preparing to serve, led by experienced district facilitators.

CLA Zoom Online Event: A Zoom online option will be available for Rotary members outside the Phoenix and Prescott areas—or those unable to travel to attend in person. Participants can take part in four Learning Sessions and join the keynote presentation. Learning Sessions include Membership, Leadership, Public Image, and Community Service, led by experienced facilitators from across our district.  This Zoom online option will be available only on March 7, 2026, during the CLA–Phoenix event. A Zoom link will be sent to all Zoom registrants prior to the event.

Note: RLI-1 will not be available at CLA Phoenix
