Grand Canyon PETS 2021
Because of the pandemic, District 5495 is this year conducting a virtual PETS program for all club presidents-elect.
The program requires all presidents-elect to enroll and take part in a five-week PETS class that features a curriculum covering five distinct topics to help you lead your club:
* Club Administration
* Roles & Responsibilities
* Effective Communication and Leadership
* Positive Productive Meetings
* Member Engagement and Retention
The class of 2021-22 presidents has been broken down into five groups. Each group will be given a different topic to study each week. The following Monday (Feb. 8, 15, 22, March 1 and 8) a virtual discussion is held for each group focusing on the topic they've just completed. That group then moves on to a different topic for the next week.
All assignments are online in Google Classroom.
A final, virtual PETS wrap-up will be held 9-noon Saturday, March 13.
